Turkey Taco Pasta

Turkey + Pasta + Spice = perfection!


Ingredients

- 0-Point Ground Turkey, 1 pound

- Onion, 1 medium diced

- Taco Seasoning, 1 ounce or 1 packet

- Plain, Non-Fat Greek Yogurt, 1/2 cup

- La Costeña Green Salsa, 1 cup

- Fat Free Cheddar Cheese, 1 cup

- Tapatio Hot Sauce, 1-3 tsp.

- Tony Chacheres Creole Seasoning, 1-2 Tbls.

- Chicken Broth, 3/4 cup

- Fiber Gourmet Pasta, 1 bag

- I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter, 3 Tbls.

- Salt, 1 pinch


Directions

1. In medium sized pot, start water to boil with a pinch of salt. Once water has come to a rolling boil, add in pasta and allow to cook through. Once it has finished cooking, drain and set aside.

2. In large skillet or pot start ground turkey, Tony Chacheres, ICBINB and Onion to cook. Allow to completely cook through.

3. Add chicken broth and taco seasoning to ground turkey mixture and mix well, making sure all seasoning is incorporated together.

4. Now, add the pasta, salsa, Tapatio and Greek Yogurt. Stirring together gently. Once Yogurt is completely mixed in, add cheese and stir together gently, again.

5. Serve & Enjoy!




Makes 4 servings. 5 Freestyle points per serving.



***You May use a different kind/brand of pasta and salsa, just make sure to adjust the recipe to calculate the correct point value for the fish.***
