A delicious low point alternative to the amazing original recipe.
- 1 pound extra lean ground meat
- 1 package Fiber Gourmet elbow pasta
- 1/2 yellow or sweet onion
- 4 Tbls. flour
- 3 Tbls. low sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup dried chives (optional)
- plain, non-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 Tbls. Grey Poupon Dijon mustard
- 1 cup fat free cheddar cheese
- 2 cups chicken or beef broth
- salt (as desired)
- pepper (as desired)
- garlic powder (as desired)
- onion powder (as desired)
Directions:
1. In dutch oven or soup pot add in ground beef and onions, along with seasonings, on medium-high heat. Once beef is browned, add in flour, soy sauce, chives (if desired) and mustard. Mix together well.
2. Now add in broth and noodles. Lower to medium heat and allow noodles to cook through. Once noodles have fully cooked, turn off heat.
3. Add in Greek yogurt and cheese. Mix together thoroughly.
4. Serve and enjoy!
Makes 6 servings. 5 points per serving.
