A little twist to a classic favorite! Little Italy, meet Texas!
Ingredients
- Onion, 1/2 cup diced
- Oregano, 1 tsp dried
- Basil, 1 tsp. dried
- Black Pepper, 1 tsp.
- Salt, 1 tsp.
- Minced Garlic, 1 tsp.
- I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, 2 Tbls.
- Tostitos Salsa Con Queso, 1/2 cup
- Tony Chacheres Creole Seasoning, 2 tsp.
- Tomato Sauce, 29 ounce can
- Chicken Broth, 1/2 cup
- Swerve Confectioners Sugar, 1/4 cup
- Fiber Gourmet Penne Pasta, 8 ounce bag
- Fiber Gourmet Light Rotini Pasta, 8 ounce bag
- Uncle Chris' Steak Seasoning, 3 tsp.
- Garlic Powder, 2 tsp.
Directions
1. In large pot, boil 4 cups of water. Once boiling add the pasta and allow to cook until done.
2. In large skillet add ICBINB, onions and garlic and cook together until lightly browned. Once browned, add the tomato sauce and the rest of the seasonings and mix together. Feel free to add or remove some seasonings to fit your preferred taste.
3. Once pasta is done, drain and add to pasta sauce. Mix together gently.
4. Serve & Enjoy.
Makes 6 servings. 7 Freestyle points per serving.
