An old-fashioned Southern main course, that will make your dinner table look like you spent hours over the stove!
Ingredients
- Leg Quarters, 6 leg quarters
- Salt
- Pepper
- Chicken Broth, 1 cup
- PAM
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare a 9 x 13 baking dish with PAM.
2. Place chicken in baking dish and season each leg quarter with salt and pepper.
3. Bake chicken on 400 degrees for 1 hour. The top of the chicken will be brown and crispy.
4. Remove chicken from oven. Now remove the chicken from the baking dish and add the broth to baking dish. Stir broth in pan with whisk. Serve the gravy over the chicken, or over rice or mashed potatoes.
Makes 6 servings of one whole leg quarter, per serving. 6 freestyle points per serving, if eaten with skin.
