An old fashioned favorite, reimagined for Weight Watchers and weight loss!
Ingredients
- Extra Lean Ground Meat, 1 pound made into 4 ounce patties
- Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce, 3 Tbls.
- Tony Chacheres Creole Seasoning, 2 tsp.
- Uncle Chris' Steak Seasoning, 2 tsp.
- Beef Broth, 1 1/4 cups
- Flour, 2 Tbls.
- Onion, 1 medium, sliced
- I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, 3 Tbls.
Directions
1. Mix together ground beef, seasonings and soy sauce. Form ground meat mixture into four, 4 ounce patties. Place in skillet, and bring to a medium heat. Allow to cook, on each side, until lightly browned on each side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
2. While skillet is still on medium heat, add onions and ICBINB. Saute' onion with butter until soft. Now, add the beef broth and flour. Mix together thoroughly and increase the temperature, of the skillet, just a little bit. Bring to a boil and then reduce back down to a low-medium heat. Add hamburger patties back into gravy. Allow patties to cook with gravy, rotating some of the gravy onto the patties, periodically. Remove skillet from heat, and allow gravy to sit for a few minutes, allowing it to thicken.
3. Serve & Enjoy!
