Red Meat Gravy

A delicious mixture of Southern charm and Cajun spices, all put into one!


Ingredients

- Extra Lean Ground Meat, 1 pound

- Onion, 3/4 cup, diced

- Tony Chacheres Creole Seasoning, 3 tsp.

- Garlic Powder, 1 1/2 tsp.

- Red Gold Tomato Sauce, 8 ounce can

- Water, 8 ounces

- Cayenne Pepper, 1-2 tsp.

- Swerve Brown Sugar, 1-2 tbls.

- Salt, to taste

- Pepper, to taste

- I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, 1 Tbls.


Directions

1. In medium to large size pot, or skillet, add the onions, ICBINB, creole seasoning and garlic powder. Mix together and allow onions to soften a little bit.

2. Now, add the ground meat. Mix together and allow the meat to cook with the onions, until completely cooked through.

3. Once meat is completely cooked through, add the tomato sauce and water (I use the tomato sauce can, so I get all of the tomato sauce available out). Mix together and add cayenne pepper, salt, pepper and brown sugar. Make sure to taste the gravy, and add more seasonings if desired.

4. Serve & Enjoy!



Makes 4 servings. 3 Freestyle points per serving.


***Serve over 3/4 cup of Minute Rice for an additional 4 points, or over mashed potatoes.***
