This recipe comes from my mothers cajun kitchen, to yours. All while being WW Friendly!
Ingredients
- Rotisserie Chicken, 4 breasts, shredded
- Chicken Broth, 6-7 cups
- Tony Chacheres Creole Seasoning, to desired taste and flavor
- Dougets Roux, 3/4 cup
- Green Onion, 1/4 to 1/2 cup chopped
- Gumbo File, 2 tbls.
Directions
1. In large stock pot, add chicken broth and Roux. Mix together thoroughly, while bringing to a boil, making sure that all of the Roux is incorporated into broth.
2. Bring down the heat to a simmer and add seasonings and mix together.
3. Now add the chicken.
Makes 10 servings. 2 freestyle points per serving

***As seen in the display photo, you can add sausage. Sausage was added to the recipe used on the day this batch was made, but I removed every piece of sausage to lower the point value of the serving I ate, personally. If you do add sausage, make sure to adjust the point value of your dish, as the point value for this dish is based on chicken only.***
