A family recipe, passed down through many generations...that I have now made WW Friendly!
Ingredients
- Beef Roast, 3 pound trimmed
- Campbell’s French Onion Soup, 1 can (22.8 ounces)
- Chicken Broth, 4 cups
- Tony Chacheres Creole Seasoning, to taste
- Garlic Powder, to taste
- Onion Powder, to taste
- Paprika, to taste
Directions
1. Pre-Heat oven to 275°.
2. Rub seasoning all over roast. Place in Dutch oven or large oven safe pot. Pour the chicken broth on the sides, allowing it to fill the pot. Now, add the French Onion soup over the roast.
3. Place in oven for 4-6 hours. Turning the roast over, half way through cooking. Then, one hour before it’s complete, remove from oven and cut into smaller pieces. Place back in oven for the last hour.
4. Remove from oven.
5. Serve & Enjoy!
Makes 12 servings. 5 Freestyle points per serving.
