Who doesn't love Hamburger Helper?! Here is just a healthier, WW friendly version of one of our favorite go-to meals!
Ingredients
- Extra lean ground meat, 1 pound
- Reduced Sugar Heinz Ketchup, 1 tbls.
- Dijon Mustard, 1 tsp.
- Onion Powder, 1 tsp.
- Tony Chacheres Creole Seasoning, 2 tsp.
- Salt, 1/2 tsp.
- Black pepper, 1/2 tsp.
- Garlic powder, 1 tsp.
- Plain non fat Greek yogurt, 1/2 cup
- Kraft Fat Free Cheddar Cheese, 2 cups
- Tapatio Hot Sauce, 1 tsp.
- Chicken Broth, 3 1/2 cups
- Fiber Gourmet Light Elbow Pasta, 8 oz. or 1 package
Directions
1. Brown ground meat in skillet with Tony Chacheres Creole Seasoning.
2. Once the ground meat is cooked through, add the rest of the seasonings, ketchup, Dijon mustard, Tapatio, chicken broth and noodles. Stir well to make sure all ingredients are incorporated. Cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until pasta is cooked through.
3. Once pasta has completely cooked through, remove from heat and add Greek yogurt and cheese. Stir to combine. Serve & enjoy!
Makes 4 servings. 5 freestyle points per serving.
***You can use a different type and brand of noodle, just make sure to adjust the recipe. As the change of pasta may increase the point value of the dish.***
