Curtido (for Pupusas)

You're missing out if you don't try this at least once!


Ingredients

- Cabbage, uncooked, Cubed, 3 cups

- Onion, Sliced, Medium

- Dried Oregano, 2-4 tsp.

- La Costena Jalapeno Peppers, Green Pickled, Sliced, 28 ounce can

- Black Pepper, to taste

- Salt, to taste

- White Vinegar, as desired


Directions

1. In large pot, boil cabbage and onion, until cooked through. Drain water.

2. Mix into pot, the rest of the ingredients and stir to combine. You may use less or more of seasonings, as desired, to reach the taste you prefer.

3. Serve alongside Pupusas and Enjoy!



Makes 10 servings. 1 Freestyle Point per serving.
