Chocolate Pecan Pancakes

A sweet little touch on the classic One-Point Pancakes!



Ingredients

- Self rising flour, white, 1 cup

- Plain, nonfat, Greek yogurt, 1/2 cup

- Eggs, 2 large

- Baking powder, 1 1/2 tsp.

- Almond extract, 1/8 tsp.

- Water, 1/3 cup

- Vanilla, 1 1/2 tbls.

- Hershey's Cocoa Powder, 2 tsp.

- Pecan Halves, 4 halves, hand crushed

- Swerve Granular Sugar, 4 tsp. (optional)

- Devotion Nutrition Protein Powder, one sample packet (optional)


Directions

1. In a bowl, mix all ingredients together, except pecans and Hershey's Cocoa Powder, adding water a little bit at a time to make sure you get the right consistency.

2. Now, add the Hershey's Cocoa Powder and pecan pieces.

3. Dip batter with a large spoon or 1/8 cup measuring cup, into skillet, and "fry" like a regular pancake.



Makes 12 servings. 1 freestyle point per serving.
